April proved to be a busy month for us at G&G Armament. We’ve attended an event each weekend throughout the month, and we’ve continued to add new dates for May. We can’t wait to see everyone across the country. We’re excited to show off our upcoming release of the all-new MXC 9 AEG and MFT106 Tracer Unit. If you have the opportunity to visit us at one of the planned events that we are sponsoring, swing by our booth to say hello and check out our newest products. To be updated on all of upcoming events, stay connected with us on social media where we will announce the upcoming G&G tour dates.
SS Airsoft 12th year anniversary
SS Airsoft is located in Buford, Georgia. Its approximately one hour north of Atlanta, Georgia. SS Airsoft’s indoor arena is a 24,000 square-foot purpose-built arena to provide a well-laid out field with various elements that provide cover for airsoft players. Their field configuration changes on a regular basis to provide a unique experience even for their regular customers. In addition, they have become an official field sponsor of SpeedQB and have quarterly SpeedSoft tournaments.
Our first time visiting SS Airsoft was back in 2015 when they celebrated their 5-year anniversary. When Steve, the owner of SS airsoft invited us to attend their 12-year anniversary, we were more than excited to go. On top of that, it was SS airsoft’s first event since COVID-19 started and we wanted to show our support for dealers who battled staying open during the pandemic.
The event was held on April 2nd and had players from all over the state and even some making the drive across state lines to attend and celebrate SS Airsoft 12th year anniversary. The day brought open play games, massive discounts on products, and delicious food from local food trucks. We’re wishing SS Airsoft a happy anniversary and looking forward to celebrating their 13th year anniversary with them again next year!
Noob Day
Noob Day is an annual open-play airsoft event typically held at Bad Karma Airsoft field on the outskirts of Nashville, Tennessee. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 and the field temporarily closing down, the event was cancelled last year. This year, some of the prior staff wanted to bring it back but faced an obstacle to find a new location. They reached out to Preston, owner of ACS Airsoft, to see if they could host it at their field in Paducah, Kentucky. ACS Airsoft is about 3 hours away from the original Noob Day location and some thought the new location might have deterred players from attending, but those critics were proven wrong.
The event was held on April 16th, and it started off with morning showers and a cold front. As the sun rose over the clouds, players continued to pull in the parking lot and registered for the event. Despite the distance of a new location and weather conditions, over 500 players came out for Noob Day. In addition, players helped raised over $4,500 for a charity at the event. Due to the success of the new location, the staff announced they will bring Noob Day back to ACS Airsoft’s field in 2023. Mark your calendars because we already have!
