2022 Preview
Like last year, the majority of our team is unable to travel to Shot Show due to the current COVID-19 restrictions. Although we will not be attending, that does not mean that we have halted our development of new products and marketing efforts. Our team continues to work as hard as we can to get our new products out to you in a timely manner, despite the current pandemic restrictions!
2021 saw a lot of challenges for us from port congestion, increased pricing in raw materials and continued global demand for G&G products. We are expecting the global markets to stabilized in 2022 and allow us to focus back into producing new and innovative products.
Automatic Electric Gun (AEG) / Gas Blow Back Gun (GBB)
Pistol caliber automatic electric gun (AEGs) have been a huge success for us in the past few years. The ARP 9 continues to be a players’ favorite for CQB and speed soft. You can expect another SMG pistol caliber automatic electric gun from us. The current pistol caliber AEG we are working on will have a new patent design to it. Part of designing a new pistol caliber AEG is taking feedback from the ARP 9 and PCC45. Some of the major improvements of our new pistol caliber AEG will be an enlarged battery compartment and a higher capacity magazine for mid-caps. We will announce the new pistol caliber AEG once we have finalized all the specifications and pricing for it.
A new G3 system will be introduced into our flagship line G2/G2H models. The all-new G3 system will be G&G’s first split gearbox design. It will have a patented power cut-off system, an optic sensor module, a pre-cocking mode, adjustable trigger travel, a progressive trigger mode, a modular QD electronic board and an innovative hop-up chamber module. Like the Type 64 BR AEG we released last year, the new G3 system will have a remote control for a player to wirelessly program their AEG.
Following the success of our RK74 tactical series, we will be coming out with an updated AK variant equipped with a pre-cocking feature, a quick-change spring and an updated electronic trigger unit (ETU) and MOSFET.
The highly anticipated Lee Enfield will make its debut this year as we are finalizing the final prototype. Our R&D team has tirelessly worked on and managed all the obstacles it had faced in the prior years and our vision for the Lee Enfield is soon to become a reality. Two versions will be released, the MK1 and the MK1 Sniper.
Pistols
We’ve been making progress in the pistol market the last few years introducing innovative technology such as the whirl cylinder valve and the hop-up adjustment tool inside the barrel. For 2022, we will continue to expand our pistol line by coming out with colored and competitive gas blow black pistols. In addition, we will also introduce new CO2 pistols to the market with patented technology. Lastly, we will be releasing a few limited-edition series for those G&G collectors.
Parts and Accessories
Tracer units have been one of our most popular accessory last year. We are introducing a new muzzle flash tracer unit. The new muzzle flash tracer unit will have three different modes to choose from and have the same power saving feature as the UVT106 2.0 tracer unit.
New mock suppressors and flash hiders will be introduced as well with the new tracer unit. Magazines with newer capacity and technology for specific series will be released giving players a wider option of choosing for their AEG.
Events
Throughout 2021, we saw more airsoft dealers and military simulation (milsim) organizers resume their airsoft events. Moving forward in 2022, we are happy to announce we have renewal our annual sponsorship with Milsim West and Lion Claws. Both milsim organizers have a proven track record with providing outstanding events to the airsoft community and unique locations. If you’re interested in one of their upcoming games you don’t have much time to plan! The next game for Milsim West will be Operation Kharkiv Collapse at Hill 559 in Clovis, CA on February 18 -20. For Lion Claws, their next game will be Operation Narcos – Jungle War at Sanna Ranch, CA on February 26. In addition to milsim games, we’re expecting to attend more of dealer’s anniversary events and local airsoft events throughout the country as things slowly get back to normal.
